Getting Started as an Adult Webmaster |
When I started in this business, I wasn't phased by the "Get Rich NOW!"
or "Make $30,000 a month!" scams I found while doing my research for my
new business venture. I'd already fallen for enough schemes and scams
in the non-adult world to know that nobody gets rich quick or makes
money without earning it. So what attracted me to this business? I'm
not sure. I can say that I just sort of fit in with what was going on.
It's hard to explain what tempted me. As an amateur graphic designer,
the incredible graphics of the paysites intrigued me. As an amateur web
designer the possiblities that the adult entertainment industry
provided were incredible. Yes, the porn was interesting, but I'd have
to say the whole business behind the porn grabbed me and sucked me in.

What to sell from your adult website |
If you've been following along, you now have a domain name, web host,
and an idea of what you want to start out doing as an adult webmaster.
You are keeping the kids out of your site and you are ready to get down
to the nuts and bolts of business. Today we are going to discuss what
you are going to sell from your website.
Let's start with sponsors. The first rule? NEVER pay a sponsor to "let"
you sell their paysite. Not very many do, but I happened to find one
that did before I had a chance to research my ideas. I signed on as an
excited newbie, ready to make money with the tools they provided. I
made galleries, I submitted galleries, I submitted more galleries and I
made zilch. The numbers weren't adding up and I started to look around
at what else was available out there.
There are tons of sponsors. I couldn't possibly list them all. I don't
even know how many there are, but there are enough that you can pick
and choose who you use. There are some things to look at when choosing
a sponsor.
